Deepa Vekaria has recently completed a Masters in Communication Design at Central Saint Martins School of Art and Design. In 2009 she was nominated as one of twelve young Illustrators to exhibit her work in Berlin and has also had her work published in the Guardian Weekend, Images 33 Annual and the International Journal of Art and Design Education. She is inspired by the character roles found in Film Noir. Her work reflects a sense of period, setting and location with a strong sense of atmosphere and mood within filmic compositions.
